Time flies, and sometimes even at warp-speed. I attended the fifth Python Users Nederland meeting last night in The Hague. It was held in the Ondernemerscafé and sponsored by Pareto, and mostly organised by Martijn Pieters.
My colleague Peter also went along, was nice to have him attend too. I could write up my version of events, but here is a fine account of events as done by Reinout van Rees. There were some discussions about setting up a website for the user group under the python.org umbrella and setting up a Wiki there. For a while the current py.nl website was inaccesible, I think that was what sparked the initial thoughts. Not sure who will be running with that thought - probably Martijn Pieters as he was sort-of chairing the meeting as organiser.
One of the conversations at the bar afterwards was with a guy who ran the 'rubbers' website selling condoms, and some discussions around using webmerchants and web commerce in general. Fun stuff these meetings.
