One of the things that came out of the last PUN meeting was that it is a good idea for me to invest some time in learning UML.
"The Unified Modeling Language (UML) is a family of graphical notations, backed by single meta-model, that help in describing and designing software systems, particularly software systems built using the object-oriented (OO) style." a quote from UML Distilled: A Brief Guide to the Standard Object Modeling Language, Third Edition By Martin Fowler
At the meeting this book was recommended as a must-read, especially if one is pragmatically minded. So this afternoon I bumped a different volume from my Safari bookshelf, and added this one. Let's see if it gets me anywhere.
