So I received yet another cold-call on my mobile phone today. This time the caller claimed he was from New York, some financial services company. He was very polite, and only wanted to send me some information for future reference. In reply to my question on where he got my number from in the first place, he replied: 'Dunn & Bradstreet'. Huh? WTF? Some guy in New York with a heavy French accent got my mobile number and now thinks I am a good perspective for some kind of financial product? My mind boggles.
I tried to stay as polite as possible, and told him that I was not interested, and have tried to use the minimum of financial products since around 1998/9 or so. And he said goodbye.
Weird.
